Picture a rose, with the beauty of its lush red petals arranged in an elaborate pattern, giving off a sweet but gentle scent. But then, a rose also has sharp thorns which can prick a careless, unsuspecting admirer.

What's with those words?

I'm not the easiest person to love, yet you still choose to be one the side of me. ^_^

I used to say, "I'm so done with promises-- empty promises that is." And I say this a lot. It made me insensitive in a sense or uncaring, even. However, as a friend of mine and I were conversing minutes ago, he suddenly asked, "When was the last time you had a heart?" This got me thinking.

I could say that I've got my fair share of bitterness in the past. But everything happens for a reason, right? Whenever we go through something, we always learn something from it; and believe it or not, I believe that if the worst has happened, the best is yet to come. People come and go you know.. it sucks. But don't ever regret anything. Every person that came to our life had a purpose. We may know what that is, and we may not. But either way, we should be thankful, be happy, and never say "I wish I never met you!" cause seriously, that's bullshit.

A sudden end is heartless. Well, sometimes reality has to bring you down sometime. But then again, life must go on, and I do appreciate that little misgiving. If I have never experienced that, then I wouldn't have been where I am right now. :)

As true as these words can be, I could say that I'm not bitter anymore-- or at least not as bitter as I used to be. :)

While on a topic concerning the heart’s emotion, a friend from my circle of trust was in a crossroad. I don’t know why I told her this, but I did anyway. This is an interesting anecdote which, if you think about it, makes a lot of sense.

If you happen to find yourself loving two persons at the same time...and you can't seem to make up your mind. Logic dictates that you should always go for the second one.

Why?

If you really and truly loved the first one, then you shouldn’t have fallen for the second one in the first place.

But it could also be that...

Sometimes we get accustomed to the the kinagawiang experiences that we revel at the thought of experiencing something new. but i think we shouldn't mistake being excited about a new acquaintance with being infatuated. for these are two different entities, i think.

All I want is some guy to prove to me that they're not all the same.

Last Saturday was Keith's debut party. So damn fun. We were wild by the end of the night but definitely not wasted.

Here's to the night we all felt pretty much alive, and a toast to those who hear me all too well.
