Reverend Eric Camden (Collins) and his wife Annie (Hicks) have always had their hands full caring for seven children, not to mention the friends, sweethearts and spouses that continually come and go in the Camden household. This year, Eric and Annie will find their family back together in Glenoak with the return of Matt and Simon. As is often the case when the house is overflowing with Camdens, Eric and Annie are in for a bumpy ride as their children take landmark steps in their lives. Meanwhile, Eric and Annie continue their journey as soul mates, parents and grandparents whose love and respect for each other brings them ever closer.
Eric and Annie's oldest son Matt (Watson), a medical resident in New York, is bound and determined to save his marriage, which hit a rough patch last season. The family suffered through a difficult estrangement from oldest daughter Mary (Jessica Biel) a few years ago, but found themselves reunited for Lucy (Mitchell) and Kevin's (Stults) wedding, as well as the birth of Mary's first child and the Camden's first grandchild at the end of last season.
It wouldn't be the Camden household if there weren't a few monumental changes in store for the family. This season, Simon (Gallagher) will be the first Camden to have premarital sex, causing a great deal of concern for his parents and leading him down a road of self-discovery. In the midst of angst over becoming a first-time parent, an expectant Lucy may have bitten off more than she can chew by accepting the position of Associate Pastor - a job she has always dreamed of having -- and leading a church discussion group for teenagers about sex. Of course, this turn of events will make Kevin's role as Lucy's biggest supporter a little more challenging, to say the least. As for the youngest Camdens, Ruthie and the twins, Sam and David, they begin new life chapters of their own with introductions to high school and kindergarten, respectively. Martin struggles to play the role of big brother and fit into the family while waiting for his father, a Marine serving in Iraq, to return home.
Through all the ups and downs, Eric and Annie have managed to keep their romance alive and their family together. Not only are they raising their own seven children, they've picked up several additional family members along the way. This season promises to focus on the importance of family, not only for the Camdens, but for those who aren't as fortunate and seeking to find a family to call their own.

Anyways, I've got a new hairdo! It's layered now instead of the plain, staight cut. Hmm, don't like it so much... Haha. My hair used to be ok. But now, it's really unruly! Waa! I want my old hair style back... LOL.
